Welcome to the new Salinger.Org!

This site has existed for over 10 years as the central source of information of J.D. Salinger and his writings. Over that time we have evolved from a static site to a mailing list and then a blog. Today, Wiki software allows us to reach the goal originally set out - to make this a collaborative site open to input from all users.

We welcome your additions and improvements. If you're familiar with Wikipedia, you will be at home here. A few provisions are important, however:

  1. We allow only Salinger-related content here. If it's not directly tied to Salinger and his writing, it doesn't belong here.
  2. We respect copyrights here. All postings must be your own original work and no posting of Salinger's writings, except where allowed under copyright law, will be tolerated.
  3. You must log in. In order to reduce spam and encourage compliance with copyright laws, no anonymous editing will be permitted. You may remain concealed behind a user account, but all users must have a valid email address and must log in to edit.
