The Bananafish mailing list was an email list focused on J. D. Salinger. It was started by Stephen Foskett in the mid 1990s and lasted through July 21, 2004 under the care of Tim O'Connor, who passed away. It was replaced by the a new bananafish list, under the care of James Rovira.
